Y después del calor llega… ¡Septiembre! Y es que este mes siempre me ha encantado, por varias razones. La más importante es porque nos vamos de vacaciones en familia, a perdernos en nuestro particular paraíso, a disfrutar de unos maravillosos días de relax y merecido descanso después de un intenso verano de trabajo. ¡No os podéis ni imaginar las ganas que tengo de estar sentada ya en el avión con mi marido y mis dos ratonas! Ya queda nada ;)

Otra de las razones por las que me encanta este mes es por su climatología, perfecta para sacar de nuevo los jeans del armario y dejar volar la imaginación. Y es que no hay en el mundo una prenda que sea más versátil y que pueda estar presente en tantos estilos y outfits: sporty, casual, hippie, smart, folk…

Mi look de hoy es un guiño hippie con aderezo folk, estos palazzo jeans de tiro alto me encantan, los he combinado con mi top de estilo ranchero, en un color que apetece mucho y que potencia el bronceado. Como complementos, llevo una bandolera de ante con flecos (sí, sí, los flecos siguen de súper tendencia también este invierno) y unos buenos zuecos con plataforma.

La elección del lugar para realizar las fotos del post no fue al azar y elegí el aeropuerto a modo de simbología, porque hoy es un día especial, ya que con estas fotos me despido de la que ha sido mi “familia” de las 15 colgadas. Las razones son sencillas, como sabéis, tengo otro blog personal que cada vez requiere más tiempo, también nuevos proyectos se abren camino este año, proyectos que requieren mi cariño y dedicación, así pues es hora de dejar atrás parte de mí en este blog y dedicarme en cuerpo y alma a esta nueva etapa, unas puertas se abren y otras tienen que cerrarse, siempre mirando hacia adelante pero sin renunciar a nuestro pasado, que es parte de nosotr@s.

Estoy tan agradecida a Carla Kissler, fundadora de este blog, por la gran oportunidad que me brindó en su día de poder formar parte de este maravilloso mundo, y a todas mis compañeras, han sido 2 años vibrantes, de aprendizaje, de risas, de compañerismo, donde sin duda lo mejor de todo ha sido poder conoceros, estar en contacto con vosotr@s, l@s que nos seguís y hacéis que valga la pena día a día el trabajo y esfuerzo.

Gracias a tod@s por tanto cariño durante este tiempo, ¡¡¡un pedacito de mí siempre estará aquí!!! See you soon loves!

♥ Hoy me siento… September de Earth, Wind & Fire

And after the heat comes… September! I have always loved this month, for several reasons. The most important one is that we go on family vacations, to get lost in our own paradise to enjoy some wonderful days of relax and well deserved rest after a busy summer work. You can’t imagine the desire I have to sit on the plane with my husband and my two mice! It’s nearly here ;)

Another reason why I love this month is by its climate, perfect to bring out the jeans from your closet and let your imagination fly. There is no other garment in the world that can be so versatile and present in many styles and outfits: sporty, casual, hippie, smart, folk…

Today’s look is a hippie wink with a touch of folk, these high-waisted palazzo jeans I love, I match them with my ranchera style top in a color that I like much and enhances the tan. As accessories, I wear a fringed suede bag (yes, yes, the fringes are still trendy this winter) and some platform clogs.

The choice of the location for the pictures of the post was not random. I chose the airport as a symbology, because today it is a special day, because with these pics I say goodbye to what has been my “family” of the 15 hanging. The reasons are simple, as you know, I have another personal blog that increasingly requires more time, also new projects for this year, projects that require my love and dedication, and it is time to leave behind a part of me in this blog and devote body and soul to this new stage, some doors open and others have to close, always looking forward but without giving up our past, it is part of us.

I am so grateful to Carla Kissler, founder of this blog, for the great opportunity she gave me to be part of this wonderful world, and all my colleagues, it has been 2 vibrant years, of learning, of laughing, of fellowship, where no doubt the best thing has been to meet you, get in touch with all of you who follow us and do worthwhile the daily work and effort.

Thanks to everyone for so much love during this time, a bit of me will always be here!!! See you soon loves!

La temporada de bodas aún no ha terminado, y por eso hoy os traigo un “3 en 1” de las tendencias en invitadas. Primero fueron los palazzo pants y los monos, después los turbantes, más tarde las coronas de flores y los canotiers, ¿y ahora? El cinturón de flores.

Siempre he sido partidaria de la creatividad y la reutilización, y por ello no lo dudé ni un momento cuando fui a Lito & Lola. Lo tenía claro: quería un cinturón de flores, pero con tres condiciones. La primera, que combinase con todos los vestidos y monos para bodas que ya tengo en mi armario. La segunda, que fuese romántico pero suficientemente informal para reutilizarlo también en looks más de calle. Y la tercera, que fuese un complemento “3 en 1” para poder llevarlo de cinturón, o de corona, o de decoración para mi canotier. Y además, con un ramito a conjunto para mi clutch transparente. ¿Qué más puedo pedir?

Y chivatazo para las más trendsetters, atreveros e innovad con collares florales ;)

♥ Hoy me siento… No te pido flores de Fanny Lu

The wedding season is not over yet, so today I bring you a “3 in 1” trend for guests. First were the palazzo pants and the jumpsuits, then the turbans, and after the hair wreaths and boaters, and now? The flower belt.

I’ve always been in favor of creativity and reuse, and therefore I did not hesitate a moment when I went to Lito & Lola. I had it clear: I wanted a flower belt, but on three conditions. The first, that it matched with all the wedding dresses and jumpsuits that I have in my closet. The second, that it should be romantic but casual enough to reuse it also in more street looks. And third, it should be a “3 in 1” accessory, to be worn as a belt, or a hair wreath, or as decoration for my boater. And with a matching bouquet for my transparent clutch. What else can I ask for?

And a tip for the most trendsetters, dare with floral necklaces ;)

Este post me gustaría dedicarlo a ÖH MY COLLECTION, es una marca que descubrí en un market en Barcelona hace algunos meses y me enamoró. Es conocida por sus crop tops. Por supuesto, yo ya tengo el mío, aunque me queda pendiente sacarlo en algún post, porque lo vale…

Este verano estuve vendiendo en el White Summer Market de Pals (Costa Brava). Mi madre una tarde apareció con un regalito, me dijo que al verlo pensó que era totalmente para mi. Abro la bolsa, y al sacarlo no me lo podía creer, era este precioso mini vestido en ante que lo tenía ya fichado por el instagram de la marca. Y al día siguiente no pude resistirme y me acerqué a su puestecito para que mi hija también adquiriera una prenda tan chula como todas las que hacen.

I would like to dedicate this post to ÖH MY COLECTION, it is a brand that I discovered on a market in Barcelona a few months ago and with which I fell in love. It is known for its crop tops. Of course, I already have mine, but I still have to show it to you in a post, because it’s worth it…

This summer I was selling on White Summer Market in Pals (Costa Brava). My mother showed up one afternoon with a gift, she said she had seen it and thought it was totally for me. I opened the bag, and I could not believe it was this beautiful suede mini dress I had already seen before in the brand’s instagram. And the next day I couldn’t resist and went to its small stand to get a so cool garment -as the ones they do- for my daughter.

Sábado en mini abotonada tejana / Denim buttoned mini skirt Saturday

Si hay una “mini” que ha sido un must este verano, esa ha sido la mini falda abotonada, la escogemos en denim y la combinamos con una blusa de manga acampanada, un cargidan de punto y unas lace-up sandals de ante. Para acabar, un maxi bolso de estampado étnico y un collar del mismo estilo y un toque de color con el esmalte de uñas en naranja. ¡A disfrutar del sábado con una mini abotonada!

If there is a “mini” which has been a must this summer, that has been the denim buttoned mini skirt. We choose it, and match it with a bell sleeve blouse, a knit cardigan and suede lace-up sandals. Domingo en pichi negro / Black pinafore Sunday

El domingo nos decantamos por un pichi en negro y lo combinamos con el color khaki. Escogemos una camisa blanca con estampado de ese color, un cardigan de punto y un bolso del mismo tono. A los pies unas trainers en B&W y como único complemento un sombrero, ahora que empieza a llegar el frío apetece despedir el verano con complementos así. ¡Feliz domingo!

On Sunday we opt for a black pinafore and we match it with khaki. We choose a white shirt with print of that color, a knit cardigan and a bag of the same tone. At the feet trainers in B&W and as an accessory a hat, now that it starts cooling we fancy this kind of accessories. Happy Sunday!

No hay marcha atrás. Sempre he pensat que els detalls són els que creen les gran coses i els bons moments. Per a mi, els detalls sumen, i la majoria de les ocasions són el més important. Molts cops ho aplico a la moda, tot i que m’encanten els bàsics, els detalls marquen la diferencia.

Per això, a un look sencill, amb el clàssic combo denim i samarreta a ratlles (podeu veure un similar aquí) li dono un toc diferent amb la bandana lligada al coll i el mini bolso amb serrells d’ante. M’agrada afegir els red lips i les olleres de sol amb mitja montura. A vegades és importat parar, pensar i valorar els detalls.

Siempre he sido de la opinión de que los detalles son los que crean las grandes cosas y los buenos momentos. Para mí, los detalles cuentan, y en la mayoría de las ocasiones son lo más importante. Muchas veces lo aplico a la moda, aunque me encantan los básicos, los detalles marcan la diferencia.

Por eso a un look sencillo, con el clásico combo denim y camiseta a rayas (podeis ver uno similar aquí), le doy un toque distinto con la bandana anudada al cuello y el mini bolso con flecos de ante. Me gusta añadirle los red lips y las gafas de sol con media montura. A veces es importante parar, pensar y valorar los detalles.

I’ve always thought that details are what create the big things and memorable moments. For me, details count, and in most cases are the most important. Many times I apply this to fashion, although I love basics, details make the difference.

So to a simple look, with the classic denim and striped shirt combo (you can see a similar one here), I give a twist to it with the kerchief knotted around my neck and the small suede bag with fringes. I like to add the red lips and sunglasses with half mount. Sometimes it’s important to stop, think and appreciate details.

Para la mayoría han acabado las vacaciones, vuelta a la rutina, pero no nos olvidemos de que aún quedan los últimos días de buenas temperaturas, ¡y hay que aprovecharlo al máximo!

Para superar la vuelta a la rutina sigo aprovechando las terracitas, me da la sensación que me hacen los días más largos. Para esa noche opté por un mono-vestido de Mango. El color berenjena del mono y su tela de seda hace que sea bastante agradable, pero el toque original es el de la gasa de seda color marsala sobrepuesta.

Os deseo una vuelta al cole de lo mas llevadera, ¡¡¡lo mejor está por venir!!!

♥ Hoy me siento… Reality de Lost Frequencies

For most holidays have finished, return to routine …., but let’s not forget the last remaining days of warm temperatures, and we must make the most.

To overcome the return to routine I’m taking advantage of terraces, I get the feeling that they make longer days. For that night I opted for a jumpsuit-dress by Mango. The aubergine color  of the jumpsuit and its silk fabric makes it pleasant enough, but the original touch is the marsala silk chiffon overlay.

I wish you a smooth return to school, the best is yet to come!!

Aloha Setembre! Amb un look de tornada a la rutina però destil·lant en ell les últimes gotes de gust a estiu. Amb aires desenfadats i piles recarregades comencem aquest nou cicle i avoquem en ell tots els pre-propòsits (aquells que venen abans dels propòsits típics de l’1 de gener) i il·lusions que comporta cada nova etapa. O sigui que us desitjo feliç tornada i tornem a la càrrega amb les rondes de looks!

Us proposo, per a aquests dies estranys que està fent, combinar uns shorts a la cintura amb una camisa vaporosa de mànigues que ajudarà a combatre la petita baixada de temperatures però sense angoixar-nos massa amb aquesta calor que encara es resisteix a deixar-nos. Bun alt i RayBan com a aliats, i un mini bolso de ràfia que acompanya l’estil natural de les sabates. A disfrutar!

♥ Avui em sento… Dandelion de The Rolling Stones

¡Aloha septiembre! Con un look de vuelta a la rutina pero destilando en él las últimas gotas de sabor a veranito. Con aires desenfadados y pilas recargadas empezamos este nuevo ciclo y volcamos en él todos los pre-propósitos (esos que vienen antes de los propósitos típicos del 1 de enero) e ilusiones que conlleva cada nueva etapa. Así que os deseo feliz vuelta ¡y volvemos a la carga con las rondas de looks!

Os propongo, para estos días raros que está haciendo, combinar unos shorts de tiro alto con una camisa suelta de mangas que ayudará a combatir la pequeña bajada de temperaturas pero sin agobiarnos demasiado con ese calor que aún se resiste a dejarnos. Bun alto y unas RayBan como aliados, y un mini bolsito de rafia que acompaña el estilo natural de los zapatos. ¡A disfrutar!

Aloha September! I come back with a routine look but distilling the last drops of summer. With relaxed air and charged batteries we start this new cycle and we overturn on it all the pre-purposes (those which came before the typical ones on January 1st) and illusions that every new stage carries. So, I hope all of you have a good entrance, and here we are re-loading with new look rounds!

I propose you, for these weird weather days, to match high-waisted shorts with a sheer sleeved shirt which will help you to fight the low sudden temperatures but without overwhelming too much with this heat which refuses to abandon us. A high bun and RayBan as allies, and a little raffia bag that fits with the natural style of the shoes. Enjoy!

Para el sábado escogemos unas bermudas negras de talle alto combinadas con una camiseta oversize asimétrica, un look cómodo pero que consigue ser más femenino con las sandalias negras de tacón, el bolso de mano y las gafas de sol cat eyes. Para darle un toque de color escogemos un fular estampado y esmalte de uñas en rojo. ¿Listas para un sábado chic?

For Saturday we choose high-waisted black culottes matched with an asymmetrical oversized t-shirt, a comfortable look but getting more feminine with the black high-heeled sandals, the handbag and the cat eyes sunglasses. Domingo en falda midi sporty / Sporty midi skirt Sunday

Los domingos nos apetecen looks comfy, por eso optamos por una falda midi negra con una abertura bastante sexy y una camiseta gris básica por dentro marcando la cintura,  y el maxi jersey troquelado en gris para cuando refresque. A veces nos apetece crear contrastes en un mismo look y por eso optamos por el combo de los pendientes XL con unas bambas añadiendo el toque sporty. Por último, un bolso sobre y manicura ambos en negro. ¡A por un domingo sporty!

On Sundays we crave for comfy looks, so we opt for a black midi skirt with a pretty sexy opening and a basic grey t-shirt inside the waist, and a die grey maxi jumper for the moments of cold. Sometimes we want to create contrasts in the same look and so we go for the combo of XL earrings and trainers adding the sporty touch. Finally, a black envelope clutch and black manicure. The video of this week had to be for the NYFW. Of all the fashion shows, we fell definitely in love with the Spring/Summer Delpozo. Josep Font, inspired by the Gypsy Ballads of Federico Garcia Lorca and Emilie Flöge, muse of Gustav Klimt, leaves us dreaming with its game of volumes, mix of colors, flowers and delicate embroidery like if we were in a fairy tale. Judge for yourselves.

El vídeo de esta semana tenía que ser para la NYFW. De todos los desfiles, nos quedamos sin duda con el de primavera/verano de Delpozo. ¡Ya está aquí la nueva temporada! Y con ella, llegan las tendencias FW15/16. Como cada temporada, os traemos un post de lo más completito con los 15 imprescindibles para este otoño-invierno. ¿Preparadas?

The new season is here! And with it, the FW15/16 trends. Like every season, we bring you the 15 must-haves for this Fall-Winter. Are you ready?

1. Años 70 / 70s

En verano llegaron los años 70, ¡y se quedan con nosotras esta temporada FW15/16! Mucho denim, combinación de pantalones acampanados, ante y flecos, maxi gafas de sol, sombreros de ala ancha, mangas acampanadas, estampados exagerados de estilo patchwork… Y aunque se acerque el invierno, también mini faldas, pichis y botas altas hasta las rodillas. ¡Vuelve la fiebre de los seventies para disfrutarla con el frío!

The 70s came this Summer, and stay with us this FW15/16! A lot of denim, matched with flared pants, suede and fringes, maxi sunglasses, wide-brimmed hats, flared sleeves, exaggerated patchwork style prints… And although Winter approaches, also mini skirts, pinafores and knee-high boots. The seventies fever returns to be enjoyed with the cold!

2. Ante y terciopelo / Suede and velvet

Dos texturas que nos trasladan a dos estaciones: otoño e invierno. Suaves, cómodas, originales y elegantes. Esta temporada de frío necesitarás varias piezas sobre todo en ante, sea del color que sea, y no sólo en clave 70s.

Two textures that take us to two seasons: Fall and Winter. Soft, comfy, original and stylish. This cold season you will fancy especially suede garments, be it any color, and not only in a 70s key.

3. ¡Átate con lazos! / Tie with bows!

Si hay un complemento estrella este FW15/16 sin duda son los lazos. A pesar de que llegan de todos los estilos, lisos o estampados, sobrios y elegantes o divertidos y dulces, nos invaden los de color negro. Camisas con lazos en el cuello, bandanas anudadas al cuello de colores estridentes, largos y finos pañuelos negros anudados, etc. ¡Encontrarás ese lazo que no te quitarás!

If there is a star accessory this FW15/16 they are undoubtedly bows. Despite they are from all styles, plain or with print, simple and elegant or funny and sweet, the black ones invade us. Shirts with bows on the collar, color kerchiefs knotted at the neck, knotted long and thin black scarves, etc. You’ll find the bow that suits you most!

4. Adiós al pitillo / Bye bye skinnies

Hace ya un par de temporadas que se intuía, de forma tímida, esta despedida. Ha llegado el momento de decir: ¡Bye bye pitillos! Pantalones culottes, de pinzas, con campana discreta o exagerada, de corte masculino, palazzo o los estrella del invierno: los flared pants tobilleros.

A couple of seasons ago we shyly saw this farewell. Now it is time to say: Bye bye skinnies! Culottes, slacks, with discrete or exaggerated bell, with male cut, palazzo pants or the Winter star: the cropped flare pants.

5. Chalecos XL / XL vests

Los chalecos oversize serán unas de las prendas de esta temporada FW15/16. Exageradamente grandes y todos ellos con un toque masculino. Conseguirás originalidad y elegancia con ellos.

The oversized vests will be one of this FW15/16 season’s garments. Excessively large and all with a male touch. With them, you will achieve originality and elegance.

6. Flecos en todas partes / Fringes everywhere

Flecos, flecos y más flecos. En cazadoras, camisas, bolsos, botines, shorts, vestidos, faldas… O recordando a los pasados años 20, o en versión más folk en tonos tierra y ante, o en su versión más rock en cazadoras de cuero en grises y negros junto con tachuelas. ¡Esta temporada apúntate a los flecos!

Fringes, fringes and fringes. In jackets, shirts, bags, boots, shorts, dresses, skirts… Or remembering the past 20s, or in a more folk version in Earth tones and suede, or in its rock version in grey or black leather jackets with studs.This season bet for fringes!

7. Colores: camel, marsala y mostaza / Colors: camel, marsala and mustard

Este trío de colores cálidos van acorde con muchas de las tendencias que triunfarán con la llegada del frío. Tres colores que casan a la perfección con las sensaciones otoñales y que darán un poco de calor al invierno.

This trio of warm colors are consistent with many of the trends that will succeed with the arrival of the cold. Three colors that fit perfectly with the Fall feelings and give some warmth to the Winter.

8. Vestidos boho / Boho dresses

El aire bucólico que éstos desprendían en verano se traspasa al invierno. Largos con mangas acampanadas, de estampados o colores oscuros, con aberturas y escotes de vértigo. El estilo boho ya no es sólo del buen tiempo.

The bucolic air these gave off in Summer is transferred to Winter. Long with flared sleeves, in different prints or dark colors, with openings and vertigo necklines. The boho style is not only for good weather.

9. Mangas XXL y/o acampanadas / XXL or flared sleeves

Como hemos mencionado con anterioridad, las mangas largas -pero largas largas- han llegado para quedarse. Maxi jerséis, camisas, tops y chaquetas con mangas kilométricas. Y también en vestidos y blusas con mangas acampanadas dándole ese toque vintage a la prenda. ¿Te animas?

As mentioned above, long sleeves -but long long- came here to stay. Maxi jumpers, shirts, tops and jackets with kilometric sleeves. And also in dresses and blouses with flared sleeves giving a vintage touch to the garment. Do you dare?

10. Gafas de sol, también en invierno / Sunglasses, also for Winter

Porque las gafas de sol también son un complemento must cuando bajan las temperaturas, y esta temporada, si son redondas, ¡mejor!

Because sunglasses are also a must accessory when the temperatures drop, and this season, if they are round, better!

11. Estilo victoriano / Victorian style

Inspirándonos en las películas y las mejores novelas, el estilo victoriano sale a la calle. Cuellos de camisas abotonados hasta arriba, mangas con detalles de encaje y botones, camisas con ruffles, faldas largas y pantalones altos.

Inspired by movies and the best novels, the Victorian style hits the streets. Shirts colors buttoned to the top, sleeves with lace details and buttons, shirts with ruffles, long skirts and high-waisted trousers.

12. Influencia oriental / Eastern influence

Vuelven -si en algún momento se fueron-, los kimonos, las sedas, los estampados florares orientales, las camisas de cuello Mao… La influencia oriental nos perseguirá siempre.

Kimonos, silk, floral Eastern prints, Mao collar shirts, return -if at some point they went away-. Eastern influence will always haunt us.

13. Inspiración granny / Granny inspiration

¿Quién nos hubiera dicho que recurriríamos al closet de nuestras abuelitas para vestirnos este invierno? La moda es así. Súmate a la tendencia “granny” con faldas midi, cardigans y jerséis XL de lana. Cuellos altos, moños bajos, camisas de franela, zapatos de la abuela, estampados vintage, chaquetones pesados y mucho gris.

Who would have said we would go to our grandmothers closet to dress this Winter? Fashion is like this. Join the “granny” trend with midi skirts, woolen cardigans and XL jumpers. High collars, low buns, flannel shirts, Grandma shoes, vintage prints, heavy jackets and a lot of grey.

14. Punto / Knit

Con la llegada del frío lo que más te apetece es un jersey enorme de punto. Esta temporada FW15/16 el punto será un must y lo querrás para todo: vestidos, tops, jerséis, chalecos, faldas… Apúntate al punto, nunca mejor dicho.

What we fancy most when cold arrives are huge knit jumpers. This FW15/16 knit is a must and you will wear it in everything: dresses, tops, sweaters, vests, skirts… Go for knit.

15. Abrigo Yeti y estolas de pelo / Yeti coat and fur stoles

Hace varios inviernos que escogemos como nuestro mejor aliado contra el frío los abrigos de pelo. Este invierno esta tendencia se reinventa en los abrigos Yeti, es decir, abrigos de pelo en blanco impoluto. Además, reaparecen las estolas de pelo que tímidamente vimos la pasada temporada. Y reaparecen en colores bloque, estridentes y estampados chillones. Aunque para las más clásicas, una estola oscura siempre será una buena opción.

For several Winters we choose as our best ally against the cold the fur coats. This Winter this trend is reinvented in the Yeti coats fur coats in pure white. In addition, the fur stoles we timidly saw last season reappear in block colors, extreme prints and bright colors. Although for the most classic, a dark stole is always a good option.

Setembre i abrigada? La raó és que avui les “penjades” comencem ronda de must-have :) Per a mi, si hi ha una inspiració com a dona aquesta és Brigitte Bardot, tant a nivell de moda com d’estil, ideals i lluites.

Avui rendeixo un petit homenatge a “la meva musa”. Quan vaig veure les camises amb llaços XL en el coll, el primer que em va venir a la ment van ser les mítiques fotos de Bardot en B&W amb elles. Sens dubte la considero una tendència estilosa i molt femenina per a aquest hivern! En aquest look l’aplico en una camisa oversize en blau bebè i uns cropped jeans negres.

D’altra banda, en portar abrics tan calentets com aquest de pèl blanc “tipus yeti de les neus”, és inevitable recordar i compartir l’amor pels animals i la lluita pel respecte cap a ells. Igual que ella, sóc de l’opinió que els abrics han de ser sintètics. I m’uneixo a les reivindicacions i a la lluita del stop el maltractament animal!

Avui, una mica guerrera, presento dues tendències per aquest FW15/16 que segur que seran dos dels meus bàsics en el meu armari. Us sumeu? Feliç dimarts!

♥ Avui em sento… Brigitte Bardot par Thierry Jousse

¿Septiembre y abrigada? La razón es que hoy las colgadas empezamos ronda de must-have :) Para mi, si hay una inspiración como mujer esa es Brigitte Bardot, tanto a nivel de moda como de estilo, ideales y luchas.

Hoy rindo un pequeño homenaje a “mi musa”. Cuando vi las camisas con lazadas XL en el cuello, lo primero que me vino a la mente fueron las míticas fotos de Bardot en B&W con ellas. ¡Sin duda la considero una tendencia estilosa y muy femenina para este invierno! En este look la aplico con una camisa oversize en azul bebé y unos cropped jeans negros.

Por otro lado, al llevar abrigos tan calentitos como este de pelo blanco “a lo yeti de las nieves”, es inevitable recordar y compartir el amor por los animales y la lucha por el respeto hacia ellos. Al igual que ella, soy de la opinión de que los abrigos deben ser sintéticos. Y me uno a las reivindicaciones y a la lucha de ¡stop el maltrato animal!

Hoy, un poco guerrera, presento dos tendencias para este FW15/16 que seguro que serán dos de mis básicos en mi armario. ¿Os sumáis? ¡Feliz martes!

♥ Hoy me siento… Brigitte Bardot par Thierry Jousse

September and warm? The reason is that today the hanging start with our must-have round :) For me, if there’s a woman that’s my inspiration it is Brigitte Bardot, both in fashion and style, ideals and struggles.

Today I pay tribute to “my muse”. When I saw the XL shirts with bows at the neck the first thing that came to mind was the mythical Bardot pictures in B&W with them. I think they are certainly a stylish and very feminine trend for this Winter! I wear them in this look with an oversized shirt in baby blue and cropped black jeans.

On the other hand, to wear so warm coats as this white fur one “kind of yeti snow” it is inevitable to share the love for the animals and the struggle to respect them. As her, it is of my opinion that coats must be synthetic. And I join the claims and the struggle to stop animal abuse!

Today, a little warrior, I present two trends for this FW15/16 that for sure will be two of my basics in my closet. Happy Tuesday!

Recuerdo como si fuera ayer el día en que en clase de inglés del cole tocaba “peli”. No se daba muchas veces esa ocasión y el día que los astros se alineaban la profesora nos regalaba el día de peli, que no era más que una forma de aprender el idioma de una manera que a cualquier niño gustaría.

Para cualquier niño era la puerta hacia…”¡Nos saltamos clase!” En mi caso dependía muchísimo de la película, siempre me ha fascinado el cine. En cualquier caso, en mi clase de inglés del curso de 1999 nos pusieron “LA PELI”. Debía tener unos 9 años pero me es imposible olvidar esa rebeldía, ese valor de enfrentarse a las normas, al sistema. La libertad que te da la poesía, la vía escapista del arte. Sí, señoras y señores, “El club de los poetas muertos”. ¿Quién no recuerda la actitud de los estudiantes, animados por su profesor a subirse sobre sus pupitres para ver la vida desde otra perspectiva?

Me gustaría acabar citando una escena de la película que me apasiona:

“No olviden que a pesar de todo lo que les digan, las palabras y las ideas pueden cambiar el mundo. Les contaré un secreto: no leemos y escribimos poesía porque es bonita. Leemos y escribimos poesía porque pertenecemos a la raza humana; y la raza humana está llena de pasión. La medicina, el derecho, el comercio, la ingeniería, son carreras nobles y necesarias para dignificar la vida humana. Pero la poesía, la belleza, el romanticismo, el amor son cosas que nos mantienen vivos.”

♥ Hoy me siento… Querida música de Capitán Mr. Litro

I remember as if it was yesterday, the day in School when English class meant “movie”. It did not happen often, but the day the stars lined the teacher decided to watch a movie, it was just another way of learning the language as any child would like most.

For any child it was the door to… “Skipping class!” In my case, it depended very much on the movie, I’ve always been fascinated by the cinema. In any case, in my English class during 1999 we watched “THE MOVIE”. I was about 9 years old but I can’t forget that rebellion, the courage to face the rules, the system. The freedom that poetry gives, the escapist route of art. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, “Dead Poets Society”. Who doesn’t remember the attitude of the students, encouraged by their teacher, to jump on their desks to see life from another perspective?

I would like to end by quoting a scene from the movie that I love:

“No matter what anybody tells you, words and ideas can change the world. We don’t read and write poetry because it’s cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is filled with passion. And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.”

Verdad verdadera: los pitillos nos abandonan. Sentimos pena, ¿a qué sí? Cuando en realidad nos costó mucho ponernos los primeros. Nos veíamos muy “caderonas”, como mujeres-peonza… ¡Y ahora nos cuesta vernos sin ellos! ¿Por qué nos resistimos tanto al cambio? Unas cosas vienen y otras se van, así es la moda, cíclica. Y para no sentirnos tan raras, hoy en nuestros 15 LWL (Looks We Love) os traemos inspiración de quince outfits sin pitillos. The truth: the skinnies are abandoning us. We feel ashamed, aren’t we? When we actually found them hard to wear the first time. We saw ourselves in a very “large hip”, as if we were spinning top women… And now it is difficult to see ourselves without them! Why are we so reluctant to change? Some things come and some others go, this is fashion, it’s cyclical. So to not feel so rare, today in our 15 LWL (Looks We Love) we bring inspiration in fifteen outfits without skinnies. Por último escogemos unos pendientes vistosos y un bolso retro tipo bombonera. ¡A disfrutar de un domingo 70s en blanco y negro!

Sunday also choose a 70s look, but with a high-waisted flared jeans and high-heeled boots. We opted for the classic white shirt and combine it with the maxi vest, scarf tied around his neck and black manicure. The granny inspiration is one of the trends coming strong this FW season. Yes, opening your grandma’s closet and reinterpreting her clothes with a modern touch, is fashionable -next week we will show one of the first campaigns uncovering this trend, there in 2012, for  Loewe, and all its controversy-. This time, it is Chanel who surprises us with 4 video-stories in its last campaign for Slingback, the bichromatic midi square heeled granny shoe, Karl Lagerfeld gets back to us from 1957 to 2015. We believed that we wouldn’t succumb to granny’s closet but, do you like it as much as we do?

La tendencia de inspiración granny es una de las que llegan pisando fuerte esta temporada OI. Sí, abrir el closet de tu abuela y reinterpretar sus prendas con un toque actual, está de moda -la semana que viene os mostraremos una de las primeras campañas que destapaba esta tendencia, por 2012, para Loewe, y toda su controversia-. Esta vez, es Chanel quién nos sorprende con 4 vídeo-historias en su última campaña para Slingback, la granny shoe bicromática y de tacón midi cuadrado, que Karl Lagerfeld recupera para nosotras de 1957 a 2015. Creíamos que no íbamos a sucumbir al armario de la abuelita pero, ¿os gustan tanto como a nosotras?
